The City of Alton, Illinois is accepting proposals from engineering consultants for construction engineering services for the Main Street Improvement project. This project will be constructed on Main Street from College Avenue to Hillcrest Avenue in Alton, Illinois. The proposal packet contains a detailed description of the project and the anticipated project schedule. The technical proposal must not contain any cost information. All proposals shall include a conflict of interest form. All proposals shall also include a copy of the consultant's current IDOT prequalification certificate, which must indicate prequalification by IDOT in the category of Special Services - Construction Inspection. Proposals will be evaluated by the Alton Public Works Department QBS selection committee. Interviews of engineering consultants will not be held for this project. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
