Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Santaquin, Utah. Completed plans call for the construction of a 6,000-square-foot fitness / recreation center; for site work for a fitness / recreation center; 3,600-square-foot religious / funeral development; and religious / funeral development.

Santaquin City is seeking to hire a qualified contracting firm/building manufacturer/supplier to provide and construct post frame buildings for two buildings. Descriptions of the two projects Project 1: New recreation building will be approximately 6,000 sq ft (100 ft x 60 ft) and will be a post frame building. This building will be located at approximately 200 South and 400 West and will be directly south of the existing Santaquin Recreation building. The completed recreation building will provide an area for recreational programing for various Community Service programs (e.g.: dance classes, martial arts, fitness courses, etc.). The awarded contractor will work with the city and the city's architect to provide a building with the following requirements: 1. Approximately 6,000 square feet (60 feet by 100 feet) 2. Lumber Post frame construction 3. 15 foot ceiling height minimum 4. Concrete floor slab - It is anticipated that the concrete floor slab will be 4" thick. A thickened edge thickness to be determined by structural engineer for anticipated interior framing. 5. Weather tight transition at joint between wall and floor 6. Methodology and materials to prevent condensation within the building. 7. Personnel/Entry doors - Anticipated doors: two 6-0 x 6-8 and two 3-0 x 6-8 8. Windows - Anticipated windows: five 3-0 x 10-0 windows For this building, the city requests additive alternates, included in submitted bids, that will include the following additions: 1. Enclosed "Lean-to" structures on the longer (100') south side to allow for an entry, restrooms, and storage Project 2: New cemetery equipment and materials storage building will be approximately 3,600 sq. ft. (60 ft x 60) ft post frame building and will be located at 259 South 100 East. The awarded contractor will work with the city and the city's architect to provide a building with the following requirements: 1. Approximately 3,600 square feet (60 feet by 60 feet) 2. Lumber Post frame construction 3. 15 foot ceiling height minimum 4. Concrete floor slab - It is anticipated that the concrete floor slab will be 4" thick. A thickened edge thickness to be determined by structural engineer for anticipated interior framing. 5. Weather tight transition at joint between wall and floor 6. Methodology and materials to prevent condensation within the building 7. 2 Overhead Doors - two 12 foot by 14 foot 8. Personnel/Entry doors - two 3-0 x 6-8 9. Windows - four 3-0 x 4-0 The awarded contractor will provide complete building plans stamped by a Licensed engineer in the State of Utah for the structure, foundations, etc. provide all construction materials and construct the building per the approved plans. The city will coordinate the installation of all other trades (i.e.: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.) within the building. The right is reserved by Santaquin City to reject any or all proposals. A Bid shall be received no later than the date and time prescribed and at the place indicated in the advertisement or invitation to bid and shall be enclosed in a plainly marked package with the Project title (and, if applicable, the designated portion of the Project for which the Bid is submitted), the name and address of Bidder, and shall be accompanied by the Bid security and other required documents. Bids received after the date and time prescribed for the opening of bids, or not submitted at the correct location or in the designated manner, will not be accepted and will be returned to the Bidder unopened. Question Deadline 03/21/2025 at 1:00 PM MT The deadline for submitting questions related to the request for proposals. Questions will be answered by 5:00 pm on Monday, March 24, 2025. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Deadline to submit Questions electronically. The Work will be substantially completed on or before _June 15, 2025____, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before _June 30, 2025____.
