Clarification Deadline 4/22/2025 5:00 PM Contact Information Glen Masewicz, Buyer; 203-294-2115 The Town is seeking a company to perform periodic maintenance, emergency service and repair on the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system at the Sewer Division. CONTRACT PERIOD OR DATE DELIVERY REQUIRED From 7/1/25 thru 6/30/28 Sealed proposals will be received by the Purchasing Agent for the Town of Wallingford, in Room 206, Town Hall, 45 South Main Street, Wallingford, Connecticut, 06492, for furnishing the commodities and/or services herein listed to town agencies. Scope of Work: ROOFTOP HVAC: o Check belts and sheaves. Adjust and replace as needed. o Lubricate and adjust dampers and linkage. o Check motor operating conditions. o Check operating voltage and current. o Inspect starters. o Inspect electrical connections, contractors, relays and test operating/safety controls. Repair and replace as needed. o Check and clean drains and drain pans. o Secure unit panels and inspect roof-curbing flashing. o Lubricate fan bearings per manufacturer's recommendation. o Lubricate motor bearings per manufacturer's recommendation. o Inspect filters and replace as needed. o Check and clean coils. o Straighten fins as required. o Check refrigerant charge and add if required. Check for possible leaks o Check compressor oil level, "acid test" oil and meg motor. Change oil as required by test. (This step only if applicable). o Start compressor, check operating conditions and adjust as needed. Check for unusual operation such as continuous running or frequent starting and stopping. o Use a leak detector to check for refrigerant leaks and oil leaks around shaft seals.
