**As of May 20, 2025, bids were canceled. No definite date for the rebid.** This solicitation is for the Removal and Replacement of a Boiler for the Louisiana Department of Corrections (DOC) located at Dixon Correctional Institute Compound 4, 5568 Highway 68, Jackson LA, 70748. Boiler Installers License: In accordance with La. R.S. 49:950, any boiler installation with a minimum of 200,000 BTUs, or a minimum of 50 gallons, will require a Boiler Installers License from the Louisiana State Fire Marshal's Office. This Boiler Installers License number must appear on the bid envelope on all projects in the amount of $10,000.00 or more. For any bid submitted in the amount of $50,000 or more, a bid security (insurance company, bank money order, certified check, or cashier's check) must be included with the bidder's submission in the sum of 5% of the amount bid (including base bid and additive alternates, if any) and shall become the property of the agency in the event the contract and bond are not executed within the time set forth in the bid solicitation. Failure to do so shall eliminate your bid from consideration.
