Reference Number 0000380068 The purpose and intent of this Invitation to Bid is to secure prices and establish a One-time Contract for Demolition of Pool at Lake Worth High School and Racquetball Court at Palm Beach Lakes High School, specified herein. Question Deadline 03/26/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Questions are submitted online Yes Palm Beach Lakes High School 3505 Shiloh Drive West Palm Beach, FL 33407 Directions: Directions I-95 to 45th Street. West to Military Trail, turn south. Go about 1/4 mile; school on east side. Lake Worth High School 1701 Lake Worth Road Lake Worth, FL 33460 Directions: I-95 to 6th Avenue South. East to A Street. North on A Street and go to Lake Worth Road. Turn west on Lake Worth Road. School on left. The successful bidder (hereinafter referred to as the contractor) shall furnish, at their expense, to include, but not be limited to, all labor, supervisors, equipment, machinery, tools, materials, transportation, and other services necessary to fully complete the demolition of the pool at Lake Worth High School and racquetball court at Palm Beach Lakes High School, as specified herein. Successful bidder shall demolish and backfill of the existing swimming pool at Lake Worth High School, including associated structures, utilities and concrete slabs. All work shall be conducted within school premises, adhering to local codes and safety guidelines to ensure minimal disruption to school operations. Work to be done during and after hours, as needed. All work shall be in accordance with plan documents, specifications, purchase order and District Master Specifications. Successful bidder shall demolish and safely remove existing racquetball courts at Palm Beach Lakes High School that are structurally unstable and pose potential hazards. Additionally, electrical wires connected to the no longer-used courts will be carefully disconnected and removed from the electrical panel to ensure compliance with safety standards. All work will be conducted within school premises, adhering to local codes and safety guidelines to ensure minimal disruption to school operations. Work to be done during and after hours, as needed. All work shall be in accordance with plan documents, specifications, purchase order and District Master Specifications. All areas of work are to be clean and safe for proceeding day of school. The contractor shall ensure adherence to all school policies and local regulatory standards throughout the project duration. Work period shall be coordinated by the contractor with the Owner. Work shall be performed and work areas protected in such a manner to maintain the operations of the facility and maintain egress and access for all corridors. The contractor shall be responsible for restoration of all disturbed areas. The contractor shall be responsible to ensure frequent pick-up (minimum daily) of all refuse, rubbish, scrap materials and debris that result from their operations so that work site presents a neat and orderly appearance at all times. All rubbish, scrap, etc., shall be transported from the premises. NO rubbish shall be deposited as fill on the work site. At completion of work, the contractor shall remove all work materials, tools, construction equipment, machinery and surplus materials from the work site and shall leave project in ready to use condition. The contractor shall provide a schedule for the required work and coordinate all required work with other occupancy and/or construction occurring on or in the area by others. Safeguard of all equipment, tools, materials, etc., at the work site is the contractors responsibility.
