The Palm Beach County Housing Authority (PBCHA) acting for itself, instrumentalities and/or affiliates is soliciting sealed bids from qualified, licensed, and insured contractors for kitchen upgrades at our LIPH properties located throughout Palm Beach County. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, tools, supplies, supervision, and transportation necessary to provide services outlined in this IFB. The Contractor shall adhere to Uniform Federal Accessibility Standard (UFAS) accessible residential units and associated improvements in strict conformance with all of the Contract Documents. The work is to include painting the kitchen. All walls shall be cleaned, patched, and painted. Ensure the refrigerator is plugged in a functioning wall outlet; o Remove and dispose of existing kitchen cabinets and countertop; o Install new melamine kitchen cabinets with self-close doors and drawers in a dark gray color; filler panels to be used where necessary; o Provide and install new gray and white marble-look Formica countertop with 4" backsplash over 3/4 " plywood, caulk all edges where countertop meet wall; o Provide and install new stainless steel double sink, p-trap, Moen 3 1/2 " stainless steel basket strainers; o Provide and install new kitchen faucet Moen Chateau one-handle low arc chrome model SX-0406277; o Caulk all edges where countertop meets wall; o Dispose of all debris off-site; o Locations where sheetrock or cement board are being installed on an exterior wall, the contractor shall install foil faced R-4 insulation prior to Sheetrock/cement board installation; o Painting of all exposed all should receive one coat of primer and 2 finish coats to match the surrounding wall surface color; o Completely clean up entire work area.
