This Contract will be a regional contract that includes Western counties: Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, Madison, Suwannee, Taylor, and Union within District 2. The Contractor shall perform Sign Repair and Replacement Operations pursuant to the terms of this Contract and at the direction of the Department. District boundaries are as described on the Agency Resources Website at the following The Contractor shall provide a letter to the Department at the time of bid, from a surety authorized to do business in the state of Florida, verifying the Contractor is bondable in the state of Florida. For the purposed of this contract, the dollar amount is established at $500,000.00. Awarded Contractor must execute documents within five (5) calendar days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and state holidays with General Liability and Workers Comp Insurance. No quantities are guaranteed and there will be no unit cost adjustment for quantities required over or under the estimated quantities. Renewal Option. Prequalification Required. Question Deadline 04/04/2025 at 5:00 PM ET, Questions posted to this site before 5:00 P.M. (EST) on the tenth calendar day prior to the bid opening, will be responded to by the Department. For questions posted after this deadline, an answer cannot be assured. Direct all questions to the Department by posting them to the Department's website. For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00 A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects.
