If any inquiry results in a change in the RFQ/P the City will issue an Addendum, and the Addendum will be posted on the Citys website. It is the responsibility of Proposers to check the City's website The following list of tasks is intended to communicate the general scope and major work tasks to be accomplished by the Design Professional. It is not intended to be a comprehensive list of services to be provided, nor is it a chronological listing of tasks. Some tasks may take place simultaneously. Prospective consultants may suggest additional or alternative approaches, steps, milestones, and deliverables in their proposals based on their knowledge and understanding of the project type. The final scope of services will be agreed upon as part of the design professional agreement negotiation process. The Scope of Services includes, but is not limited to, the following items: Project Management and Communication Tasks 1000 Coordination Meetings a. Participate in monthly conference call with City staff to discuss the project objectives. The City desires that City certified Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and City certified Women Business Enterprises (WBEs) have a maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of City contracts. The MBE/WBE participation goals for this Project are 14% MBE participation and 14% WBE participation. If applicable, I hereby certify that (1) at project completion and pursuant to contractor's final request for payment, contractor achieved, company-wide, at least ten percent (10%) minority workforce participation and two percent (2%) women workforce participation and (2) a true and accurate copy of my final project workforce monthly report is attached. Design Professional will meet with the City's project manager at City offices at least quarterly. 1001 Public Engagement a. Facilitate two (2) public open houses for the following purposes i. Conceptual layout feedback ii. Final concept communication 1002 Parks Development Review Committee (DRC) Meeting a. Assist with presenting project and answering questions at virtual Parks DRC Meeting Survey and Data Gathering 2000 Site Assessment 2001 Review project information to determine a starting alignment for the trail blazing. 2002 Trail Blazing a. Facilitate a trail blazing expedition to document the trail alignment for the survey tasks. Invited attendees: i. The City ii. MoDOT and permitting agencies iii. Design Professional Project Manager iv. Design Professional Lead Trail Designer v. Design Professional Environmental Scientist 2003 Surveys a. Control i. Establish Horizontal Control Points and Project Benchmarks from recorded benchmarks. Horizontal Datum will be referenced to Missouri Western Zone, NAD1983. Vertical Datum will be referenced to NAVD88. Proposers may submit written questions, request clarifications or provide notice to the City of any ambiguities, conflicts, mistakes, errors, or discrepancies that Proposer has discovered in the RFQ/P, the Standard City Contract, Scope of Services and any other solicitation document at any time until seven (7) calendar days prior to the RFQ/P due date.
