As of May 22, 2025, the project was awarded to Sipsas Excavating & Trucking, with an awarded amount of $188, 849.05. Bid Project: Douglas County Forestry Department in Douglas County, Wisconsin is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the Mooney Boat Launch project. The project area is located at 14293 Fowler s Circle, Gordon, Wl. The work under this project shall consist of the removal of existing asphalt, removal of small retaining wall, and excess material. Additionally, the site will have new gravel imported, finish graded, and hot mix asphalt placed. All other items and incidental work necessary to complete the project scope as shown on the plans and specifications are incidental to the project. Final completion by September 30, 2025. This project is funded by a grant from the State of Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
