Renovation of a medical facility in Asheville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The project includes the modernization of (7) hydraulic elevators and (5) traction elevators in Building 15, 47, and 62 on the Asheville VA campus. Scope of work includes but is not limited to significant Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) system installations, phasing plans so that no more than (1) elevator is down at a time per group, hazardous material removal and some finishes, installation of sump pits, extensive review and integration of fire alarm controls and communication systems, fire suppression, electrical, mechanical, and some finish work. **Bidders should be prepared to mobilize, staff, and accommodate a fluid and flexible schedule which may require after hours work from time to time. Total contract days allowed for the project are 855 calendar days from notice to proceed**
