Demolition, remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Coronado, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
Project Description: Base Item 0001: Clevnat 1619 Replace Generator and Electrical Switchboard - Coronado San Diego, CA The intention of this project is to remove and dispose of the existing 125kw emergency generator, existing electrical distribution board of the electrical room rated 600A, 120/208V 3-phases, 4 Wires and existing ATS panel of the generator and existing 600v cables according to NAVFACSOUTHWEST utility standards at the back of building 1619. Install new switchboard of the 100% rated 600A; 120/208V, 3-phases, 4 wires. Install 100% rated 600A ATS for the new Generator of the 150 kW. Reconnect all existing feeder circuits from existing switchboard to the new Switchboard & to the new generator of the building 1619. See details descriptions of the new work at section 1.2.1 Work Requirements K. Details work (k). The new location of the generator shall at least 5’-0 away from the building in new pad. Obtain permit as require. Install all new ATS switches/controller in the Electrical Room to include all new wiring, conduit and cabinet/enclosures. All ATS’s control/Enclosure shall be stainless steel to prevent premature corrosion. Provide necessary permits for APCD. Contractor shall provide installation services to include all labor, necessary engineering services, technical support services, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and incidental work necessary to repair by replacement. Prevailing Wages Apply. Contract duration = 365 calendar days Option: B-1481 Emergency Backup Generator and ATS Replacement - Warner Springs, CA The purpose of this task is to replace existing emergency diesel generator of the 50kW at 480V/3Phase. Generator that has a Diesel tank capable of running for 48 hours. Install new generator at the same exterior pad of Building 1481 complying with codes as stated below. The scope involves demolition of existing generator and the installation of all equipment and associated components for the new generator. Utilize the existing feeder of the old generator to connect to the new generator as required per codes after replacing old one. Existing ATS will remain as is. Generator Enclosures shall be minimum NEMA-4X. But not limited to please review the Statement of Objectives for more information. Prevailing Wages Apply. Contract duration = 116 calendar days
