All contractors bidding on work must complete the qualification process submitting the written form or on-line form available at https://www.christmanco.com/documents_forms.asp. Bidders must submit the Qualification Statement and a complete audited or reviewed Financial Statement with Accountants Report and Footnotes to be considered for qualification. All bids over the State of Michigan Bid Threshold ($30,512) shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers' check, money order, or bid bond made payable to "Clawson Public Schools" in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid as a bid security. The Bid Security of Bidders under consideration will be returned immediately after award of contracts by the Owner. The amount of the guarantee shall be forfeited to the Owner if the successful Bidder fails to enter into a contract and furnish required bonds and insurance within 30 days after award of contracts. 11. All proposals submitted shall remain valid for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid date. The Owner, Architect, and Construction Manager reserve the right to waive any irregularities, reject any or all proposals, or accept any proposal, which, in their opinion, will serve their best interest. Post bid interviews will be scheduled for the week of April 7, 2025. Bidders must have availability for an interview during that week. All bids over $50,000 must include a Co-Obligee Payment and Performance Bond for this work. Include the cost of the bond in the bid.
