Site work and paving for a road / highway in Galveston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Port is seeking bids for the reconstruction of Wharf Road from 20th Street to 23rd Street along with the two connecting roads between Harborside Road and Wharf Road. Development of roadways includes realigning Wharf Road with new reinforced concrete pavement and installing a new storm sewer system along with signage/traffic control devices, replacing an existing 6-inch water line with a 12-inch water line, pedestrian routes, and signalized pedestrian crossings. Other improvements related to this roadway include continuous roadway illumination, and landscaping irrigation. Questions will be received, in writing to purchasing@portofgalveston.com, until Friday April 4, 2025, at 2:00 PM. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all of the bids, in whole or in part, and to accept the bid or bids, in whole or in part, for any reason or to negotiate with any and all respondents and waive any informality in bids received.
