Renovation of a military facility in Galveston, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
United States Coast Guard Base Galveston, TX is accepting proposals for qualified individuals or firms to Provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove and replace in kind Hot Water Heater for Multi Mission Building at Base Galveston. Prior to submitting a quote, it is mandatory to examine the scope of work and it is highly recommended to visit the facility to take field measurements, evaluations, etc., and become familiar with existing conditions under which the work will be performed. After the award of contract, a pre-conference will be held prior to starting the work at Coast Guard Base Galveston. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation to furnish all labor, tools, equipment, and materials to remove and replace in kind Hot Water Heater for Multi Mission Building at Base Galveston. All work is to be completed in accordance with the scope of work. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and no other written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Small Business Set-aside, the applicable NAICS code is 238220 and small business size standard is 19M. This solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract awarded to the offeror with the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. Offerors must be actively registered in System for Award Management -https://www.sam.gov. FAR 52.237-1 Site Visit (Apr 1984). Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
