Bid Bond 0.00% Payment Bond 0.00% Performance Bond 0.00% The City of Pomona, Water Resources Department is seeking proposals from qualified firms ("Proposers") for professional services to develop the design of the Booster Pump Station No. 2 Replacement ("Project") to replace the existing potable water pump station that is outdated and beyond its useful life. The existing Booster Pump Station No. 2 facility, pumps, and associated equipment are beyond their design life and are outdated. The City seeks to demolish the existing booster pump station and replace it with an above-grade booster facility to house variable frequency drive (VFD) water pumps and associated equipment. These improvements will create a new facility in alignment with current National Electric Code (NEC) standards, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) operational and safety standards, enhanced operational flexibility and reliability, while reducing energy demand and maintenance expenses. Per Section 2-971(2) of the Pomona City Code, any unauthorized contact by the Bidder during the bid process with an official or city employee, other than those shown on the bid, the Finance Director or Purchasing Manager, shall cause the Bidder to be immediately disqualified from participating in the bidding process.
