Bid No. 13(24-25)MO - Roofing Replacement, Restoration, and Painting at Kingsley Elementary School Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the Business and Professions Code and shall possess the current Class Contractors Licenses for Bid No. 13(24-25)MO - "B" or BOTH "C-33" & "C-39" The Contract Times 90 consecutive calendar days Liquidated Damages for each bid is are follows: Bid No. 13(24-25)MO - $1,500.00 per day for every calendar day after Substantial Completion Bids will not be accepted if a Contractor has not been fully prequalified where prequalification is required. Prequalification documents are available from online. Prequalification documents must be submitted and fully approved by the PQ Bids by the following dates and times for each bid: Bid No. 13(24-25)MO - 8:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 Contractors will be notified by PQBids via email of their prequalification rating within a reasonable period of time after submission of their prequalification documents. Please note, when renewing existing prequalification status, applications should NOT be initiated within a week of prequalification deadline. Each bidder must submit with each bid a cashier's check payable to the District or a bid bond in the form set forth in the contract documents in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of bid as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed contract if the same is awarded to such bidder. In the event of failure to enter into said contract, such security will be forfeited. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to make multiple or "split" awards (if applicable), and to waive any irregularities in any bid. Pre bid meeting description: Any Contractor bidding on the Project who fails to attend the entire mandatoryjob walk and conference will be deemed a non-responsive bidder and will have its bid returned unopened. All bidders will be responsible for obtaining any addendums or revisions to the project It is the contractor's responsibility to attend the requested Pre-Bid Conference and Job Walk to ensure accurate project bid cost(s) and any pertinent information. Site visit description: Both portions of the Pre-Bid Conference are Mandatory, bidders intending to bid as General Contractors on this project must check in at the district meeting AND also attend the site visits afterwards in order to bid. Subcontractors are strongly encouraged but not required to attend.
