Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Site and Civil Engineering work to be performed at the Elmwood Park Fire Station. Elmwood Park Fire District (Owner) intends to have Site and Civil Engineering work performed and is seeking sealed bids for general construction. The work includes a new concrete apron, repair and replacement of existing asphalt, trenching for gas & water line extensions, bollards, parking-lot paint striping, and new curbing. This is a public work project, and the coordination of the schedule will be the responsibility of the General Contractor (GC). Each sealed enclosure containing a bid is to be endorsed on the outside with the name, address and telephone number of the bidder and is to state that it contains a bid for the Elmwood Fire District. Bid security in the form of a 5% bid bond issued by an acceptable surety or a bank or certified check payable to the Elmwood Park Fire District is required. The successful bidder will be required to provide both a performance bond and a labor/material payment bond issued by acceptable sureties and to enter into a written contract with the Elmwood Park Fire District. A copy of the form of contract is included with the bid documents. The (Owner) reserves the right to reject any and all bids, re-advertise for new bids, waive any irregularities in bidding and to accept the bid that is best suited for the (Owner).
