Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Carson City, Nevada. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Carson City School District (CCSD), Carson City, Nevada will receive sealed bids for the following project, identified as Carson Middle School Richmond Ave Parking Lot, Fritsch Elementary Parking Lot Building A, and Empire Elementary Basketball Court. Provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to remove and reconstruct the existing parking lot across Richmond Street from the school. The project includes the removal and replacing of 6,700 +/- sf of pavement and all existing improvements within the project area including but not limited to curb, gutter, pavement, debris, and loose concrete. New improvements include the installation of various curb types, valley gutter, new pavement, and drainage swale. It will be the contractor's responsibility to restore all disturbed areas to preconstruction conditions or better. Provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision for the removal and reconstruction of the pavement section at the student drop off area. This project includes removal and replacement of 16,000 +/- sf of pavement within the project area. New improvements include placement of a new median curb on the east side of the project site and the existing drop inlet will need to be reset. It will be the contractor's responsibility to restore all disturbed areas to preconstruction conditions or better. Empire Elementary School - Basketball Court Project - Provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision for the removal of the existing basketball court pavement area on the south end of the school. New improvements include construction of a new grade school basketball court, installation of new basketball hoops and associated drainage improvements. Project consists of 4,000 +/- sf of pavement, 230 lf of concrete valley gutter, 8 lf of 5' wide sidewalk along with minor grading and installation of new hoops. It will be the contractor's responsibility to restore all disturbed areas to preconstruction conditions or better. Prevailing Wages must be paid on this project. All Prime Contractors (Bidders) are required to attend the Mandatory Meeting in order to be eligible to submit a bid. Major subcontractors are strongly encouraged to attend, although major subcontractor attendance is not required. A representative from each potential General Contractor must be in attendance and sign-in to be eligible to bid. Firms interested in submitting a bid in response to the Invitation to Bid must meet the requirements of NRS 338 as it relates to eligible bidders which include, but are not limited to the following requirements: be licensed as a contractor with appropriate license limit and class, be qualified to bid on public works projects (as qualified by the State of Nevada Public Works Division), have appropriate bonding limit and levels of insurance to, at a minimum, cover the total cost of construction.
