The project's general scope of work is to furnish all tools, equipment, material, permits, labor, supervision, and all other necessary resources to accomplish the following work: Replacement and renovation of doors and flooring within the Surgical Suite of Building 1E. All work to be performed per drawings and specifications. This project will also be fully commissioned to ensure all systems perform as designed. This is a Pre-Solicitation announcement to inform potential offerors of the Department of Veterans Affairs intent to advertise for bids the project entitled 'Facility Maintenance Upgrades, Project 506-22- 207' to be accomplished at the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center, MI. A solicitation is planned to be issued on or about April 3, 2025. The project's general scope of work is to furnish all tools, equipment, material, permits, labor, supervision, and all other necessary resources to accomplish the following work: Replacement and renovation of doors and flooring within the Surgical Suite of Building 1E. All work to be performed per drawings and specifications. This project will also be fully commissioned to ensure all systems perform as designed. Work is scheduled to be performed during the normal daytime business hours of the medical center excluding federal holidays. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a small business size standard of $45 million. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract within 120 days from bid opening date. This acquisition is a 100% set-aside for qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Only offers from verified SDVOSBs registered in the Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) at the time of proposal submission are eligible for consideration.
