Renovation of a medical facility in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
In general, the work consists of: Removal and disposal of the existing roof systems and installation of a fully adhered 60-mil EPDM roof membrane, insulation, vapor retarder, and flashings. No verbal explanation or instructions will be given in regard to the meaning of the drawings or specifications 15 during the bid period. Bidders shall bring inadequacies, omissions or conflicts to the Architect/Engineer's 16 attention at least ten (10) days before MEP bidding commences. If a project does not include any mechanical, 17 electrical, plumbing, or fire protection divisions of work, bidders shall bring inadequacies, omissions or 18 conflicts to the Architects/Engineer's attention at least ten (10) days before GPC bid opening. Prompt 19 clarification will be supplied to all bidders of record by addendum. 20 21 Failure to so request clarification or interpretation of the drawings and specifications will not relieve the 22 successful Bidder of responsibility. Signing of the contract will be considered as implicitly denoting that the 23 Contractor has thorough understanding of the scope of work and comprehension of the contract documents. 24 25 Neither the Architect/Engineer nor DFD will be responsible for verbal instructions.
