Schenectady County solicits responses from qualified Bridge Maintenance and Repair firms for bridge repair, rehabilitation, and/or alteration of County structures on an as- needed basis for the current construction season. The work generally shall consist of steel and concrete repair, scour repair, guiderail installation or repair, or other rehabilitation associates with yellow or red inspection flags or emergency bridge maintenance at sites throughout Schenectady County as specified by the Commissioner of Public works through written purchase order issued to the Contractor by the County Purchasing Department. The bridge maintenance work shall be structured to meet the demands of each written job order. All work shall be paid on an hourly basis for the actual hours worked per classification.
