Berkeley County is seeking qualified contractors to construct a new fence at the Berkeley County Landfill located at 2227 US-52, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. Install about 13,000-feet of fencing (9-gauge) with 2.5-inch posts and 2'x2' footings. Fence shall be eight (8)-foot-high galvanized chain link fencing with three (3) rows of barbed wire along the top. Included in the scope is the replacement of three gates, two (2) 25-foot slide open gates and one 40-foot (type TBD). Fencing will need to be placed along the north and east side of the landfill. Map is attached showing the location (blue lined). The County will take care of any necessary tree obstruction/removal. Water will be available on site. All permitting will need to be handled by Contractor. The deadline for submitting written questions is April 4, 2025 @ 12:00 PM EST.. Verbal information obtained otherwise will not be considered in the awarding of the solicitation. Bids in excess of $100,000.00 will require a 5% Bid Bond
