The City of Dania Beach adopted a Parks Master Plan in 2019. In addition to the community center and swim center the location will be home to two basketball courts, two tennis courts, two pickleball courts, a walking path outfitted with exercise stations lining the perimeter of the park, two new covered playgrounds for different ages, a multipurpose artificial turf field, an artificial turf baseball field, new standalone outdoor restrooms and increased parking. While the above items are visions as adopted in the Master Plan all concepts are open for interpretation as the project moves forward. The City intends to select a Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) firm(s) capable of providing management services necessary to complete the improvements within the City as outlined in this RFQ. The selected CMAR firm(s) may be responsible for both preconstruction and construction phases of this project and/or may be responsible for only the construction phase, depending on the determination of the City. The selected CMAR firm(s) will be responsible for the successful, timely, and economical completion of this project. The City reserves the right to inspect any facility designated by the Qualifier to ensure that it complies with this section. Should the City be unable to identify qualified providers within the tri-county area, the City may at its sole discretion elect to negotiate with firms that are not based out of Miami-Dade, Broward or Palm Beach County, or re-advertise this solicitation and seek a new pool of applicants. All questions requiring clarification or interpretation of the RFQ documents shall be made in writing and shall be delivered to the City by Friday, April 4, 202510:00 am. Monitor Minority/Women and Small Business Enterprises participation (M/WBE, SBE) for the project or phases of the project.
