Renovation of a mixed-use development in Greensboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Per below Specifications and Instructions to Bidders, vendors are to supply all labor and materials to complete the security alarm panel and devices at ten (10) locations. The contractor will be responsible for providing labor and materials for the installation of GCS provided alarm panels as well as keypads at ten (10) sites. GCS School Safety & Emergency Management will determine the number of keypads per site during the pre-bids and site visits. It will also be determined if the work will require the replacement of motion devices and new wiring. Contractor will be responsible for providing both materials and labor regarding the mounting of the supplied devices and are required to provide training to GCS SS&EM staff upon completion of the installations. MWBE firms' participation goals as construction and construction-related subcontractors and suppliers have been set at 12.46%, and goods and services purchases at 10%.
