The installation will include one run of fencing across the courtyard area and two runs connecting the building to an existing fence, along with pedestrian and equipment access gates. 1. Courtyard Area Fence Installation o Install one (1) run of 4' high fencing across the courtyard area. o Install one (1) pedestrian/equipment access gate. Material Specifications: o 8-gauge black-coated chain-link fence, knuckled ends on top and bottom (no barbed wire). o 3" black terminal posts (for corners, turns, ends, and gate hinges), schedule 40, concreted 2' below ground. o 2 1/2 " black line posts, schedule 40, concreted 1'6" below ground. o Black top rail, 1 5/8" schedule 20. o Posts must be set in wet concrete mix at a maximum spacing of 10' centers. o Black tension wire to be installed at the bottom of the fencing. o 6' access gate to be constructed of two (2) 3' swinging gates made of 2" schedule 40 pipe, complete with latch and drop rod. Drop rod must be accessible from the exterior, and a sleeve must be installed in the ground for drop rod insertion. 2. Fence Installation Connecting Building to Existing Fence o Install two (2) runs of 4' high fencing to connect from the building to the existing fence. o Install five (5) pedestrian/equipment access gates. Material Specifications: o 9-gauge galvanized chain-link fence, knuckled ends on top and bottom (no barbed wire). o 3" terminal posts (for corners, turns, ends, and gate hinges), schedule 40, concreted 2' below ground. o 2 1/2 " line posts, schedule 40, concreted 1'6" below ground. o Top rail, 1 5/8" schedule 20. o Posts must be set in wet concrete mix at a maximum spacing of 10' centers. o Tension wire to be installed at the bottom of the fencing. o 10' access gate for vehicles/equipment, constructed of two (2) 5' swinging gates made of 2" schedule 40 pipe, complete with latch and drop rod. Drop rod must be accessible from the exterior, and a sleeve must be installed in the ground for drop rod insertion. This gate will be installed across the fire lane. o 4' pedestrian swinging gate with a lockable latch, made of 2" schedule 40 pipe. The contractor is responsible for measuring the area or following the provided drawing. o The contractor is required to locate and mark underground utilities before drilling holes. o All work must be performed in a professional manner, adhering to safety and quality standards. Completion Criteria o All fencing and gates must be installed per the specifications above. o All posts must be properly secured in concrete. o All gates must function properly with secure latches and drop rods. o The site must be cleaned upon project completion.
