Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mount Holly, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work for the Base Bid includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in these Specifications and shown on the Plans. In general, the work on Clover Street includes 25 SY Excavation Unclassified; 5 tons HMA 9.5M64 surface course, 400 LF concrete vertical curb; 125 SY replacement concrete sidewalk, 4" thick; 60 SY replacement concrete driveway, 6" thick, reinforced; removal of one (1) tree (DBH 24" to 30"); removal of one (1) tree stump (DBH 36" to 42"); inlet and manhole repair; inlet reconstruction; cleaning, video inspection, and chemical grouting of 150 joints for 18" TCP storm pipe; and other incidental work. The work for Alternate "A" bid consists of 730 LF of cleaning, video inspection, and installation of cured in place lining for 27" RCP storm pipe. The work for Alternate "B" bid consists of cleaning, video inspection, and chemical grouting of the 125 joints for 27" RCP storm pipe. Bids must be made on the standard Proposal form in the manner designated therein and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Township of Mount Holly, and must be accompanied by Certified Check, Bid Bond or Cashier's Check drawn to the order of the Township of Mount Holly for ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, provided said security need not be more than $20,000.00. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an approved surety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Performance and Maintenance Bonds upon the award of contract. The signed Proposal forms and bid security must be delivered to the place and on or before the hour named above. The accepted bidder must sign the contract within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award or forfeit his bid security. Bid securities will be returned to all but the three apparent lowest responsible bidders. All other bid securities will be returned within three days awarding and signing of the contract and approval of the Contractor's Performance Bond, Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays excepted. The right is reserved to reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, or to make awards to such bidder or bidders who, in the judgment of the Township of Mount Holly is the lowest responsible bidder and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law.
