The County of Burlington has issued a solicitation of bids titled "2023 State Funded Overlay Program, Burlington County, New Jersey" Question Cut Off Date: 6/9/2025 05:00 PM (ET) All bidders must be prequalified with the N.J.D.O.T. Work Classification 3A or 5, and in the proper dollar amount with N.J.D.O.T. The prequalification shall be valid at the time bids are opened. Bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check for ten percent (10%) of the total lump sum bid amount, but not in excess of $20,000.00 in accordance with N.J.A.C. 16:44-7.3 (e) and must be delivered to the Division of Purchase on or before the hour specified. Certified checks or cashier's checks are to be drawn to the order of "The Treasurer of Burlington County". Said documents must be delivered in a sealed envelope plainly marked with name and address of the bidder and complete bid title and number as shown on the cover of the specifications. Failure to submit said original documents on time will result in rejection of the bid submission. The sealed envelopes will be returned to the sender unopened. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive any immaterial defects or informality in any bid should it be in the best interest of the County to do so.
