Renovation of a museum in Mount Holly, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and as listed per building below, but is not limited to the following 1. BUILDING A- CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER Provide Exterior Restoration at Existing Building. a. Painting of existing metal roof panels. b. Clean and remove coating from the masonry walls. c. Painting of existing masonry walls. d. Repair and painting of all wood windows, doors and surrounding wood trim, moldings; e. Repair of masonry steps and areaways. f. Clean and repair brick walkways, refer to Subsection 1.4.A.4 under the scope of work below. The project scope will consist of the following Complete exterior restoration including but not limited to Roof Coating Wood Repair Masonry Repair Window and Door Repair Complete Exterior Painting Trades Required General Construction The County will not accept any paper-based bid submissions via email, fax, courier, mail, or in-person delivery. Any paper-based bids delivered will be returned to the sender unopened. Any Bid Not Submitted Electronically by the Deadline Will Be Automatically Rejected by the County's Division of Purchasing. Bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check for ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount, but not in excess of $20,000.00 and shall be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Burlington. The Consent of Surety must be on the form provided in the bid documents. Bidders must submit a copy of the bid guarantee and the consent of surety at the time of bid through the County's e-procurement platform . Failure to submit copies of said documents by the deadline bids are due shall result in rejection of the bid submission. Additionally, bidders must submit the original bid bond and consent of surety by the deadline bids are due. Said documents shall be delivered to the County, in a sealed envelope plainly marked with name and address of the bidder and complete bid title and number as shown on the cover of the specifications. Failure to submit said original documents to the County, by the deadline bids are due, shall result in the rejection of the bid submission. The sealed envelopes will be returned to the sender unopened. The original bid guarantee and consent of surety can be submitted by the following methods: Hand Delivery or Courier Services: County of Burlington Department of Finance and Purchasing County Office Building First Floor, Room 104 49 Rancocas Road Mount Holly, NJ 08060- 6000 Mail: County of Burlington Department of Finance and Purchasing 49 Rancocas Road Post Office Box 6000 Mount Holly, NJ 08060- 6000 Performance Guarantee Requirements : within ten (10) days of the date of notice of intent to award a contract to the bidder, the bidder must submit a performance bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount to the County of Burlington, via the County's representative. The Performance Bond must be drawn to the Board of Commissioners of the County of Burlington in an amount equal to the contract amount. It must be provided in substantially the format as found at N.J.S.A. 2A: 44-147, a copy of which is included in the bid specifications. No Performance Payment Bond will be accepted by the Board of Commissioners unless there is attached thereto a Surety Disclosure Statement and Certification in substantially the form provided in the bid specifications. PREVAILING WAGE RATES; When applicable, the contractor shall pay the latest prevailing wage rates for projects in excess of $2,000.00 as determined by the United State Secretary of Labor and the New Jersey Department of Labor, for the locality in which the work is to be performed pursuant to Chapter 150, Laws of 1963 (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56, 25 et seq.). If the prevailing wage rate prescribed for any craft by the United States Secretary of Labor is not the same as the prevailing wage rate prescribed for that craft by the New Jersey Department of Labor, the contractor shall pay the higher rate The County is not responsible for any bid not submitted on time. The County is not responsible for any internet or electronic issues that may include, but not be limited to, connection issues, technical difficulties, errors, power outages, etc. All solicitations are subject to change. It is the responsibility of the vendor to check the website for any future addenda, revisions, etc. prior to the opening date.
