The Town of Nantucket, through its Fire Department, invites qualified responders to submit proposals for the Updated Feasibility Study and Design for the Nantucket Sconset Fire Station. The Town of Nantucket (hereinafter "Town"), through its Fire Department (hereinafter "Department"), is seeking a consultant for an updated feasibility study and design for the Sconset Fire Station (hereinafter "Project"). This is a high priority with the Nantucket Fire Department's Five-Year Outlook and focuses on renovating the existing structure to provide modern fire station requirements including living quarters and fire department equipment and apparatus storage. Award will be made within forty-five (45) days after proposal opening unless otherwise stated in the specifications or the time for award is extended by mutual consent of all parties. All submittals shall be valid for a minimum period of sixty (60) calendar days following the date established for acceptance. The Town shall award a contract, if at all, to the responsible proposer whose proposal is responsive and the most advantageous taking into consideration price and all evaluation criteria set forth in this Request for Proposals.
