Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Resurface Cobden Rd using full depth asphalt removal and pave strategy. Replace concrete curbs and sidewalks, as directed by the contract administrator. New concrete sidewalk on the east side of Cobden Road from Iris Street to Elmira Street. Please refer to the included functional design plan prepared by Active Transportation Planning (ATP). Addition of bus pad on Iris Street for westbound busses. (As per RMA-2022-TPC-062. See included drawing with proposed Layout for Cobden Rd) Removal of asphalt sidewalk and replacement with monolithic concrete sidewalk along south side of commercial parking lot at Iris St. The replacement is to be completed using the top of curb along Iris St as the controlling grade. There will be a 1-2% slope towards Iris St from top of curb along the commercial parking lot to the top of curb along Iris St. Narrowing of existing south shopping centre entrance driveway by approximately 5.5m, this will require full depth asphalt removals and the south most curb return to be removed and reinstated 5.5m north to narrow the driveway. The area behind the curb will be reinstated with topsoil and sod. The precast concrete curbs are to be relocated to align with the yellow bollard along the building wall or removed as directed by the contract administrator. Removal and Relocation of three signs on the east side of Cobden is required prior to new sidewalk installation along the East side of Cobden St. At the time of tendering, the Tenderer shall submit, with its Tender, a deposit in the form of an electronic bid bond from the Tenderer's surety in favour of the City of Ottawa. The amount of the Tender deposit shall equal at least ten percent (10%) of the Total Tender Price.
