The scope of work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary for completion of the work indicated in the Bid Documents including, but not necessarily limited to, the following: demolition, earthwork, concrete curb and gutter, asphalt pavement, striping, concrete flat work, and landscape restoration associated with the Des Plaines CCSD 62 2025 Pavement Maintenance Project. Des Plaines Community Consolidated School District 62 (CCSD 62) is accepting bids from contractors for work at the following CCSD 62 facilities in Des Plaines, Illinois; Chippewa Middle School, Cumberland Middle School, and Forest Elementary School. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the Contract Sum. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates for all work performed under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1 et seq). The Contractor must be required to submit electronic copies of their certified payrolls to the Engineer with each application for payment. Community Consolidated School District 62 reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, reject nonconforming bids, reject conditional bids, waive irregularities in the bidding procedures, or to accept any bid that, in its sole opinion, best serves the interests of the School District.
