Contractor must supply the following: o All necessary labor, materials, equipment o Fully trained personnel to perform the work described below at the Heartland Community College Normal, IL campus o On-site supervisor for the duration of the project Scope of work: o Repaint the exterior building Structural Steel, Steel Gutters, Steel downspouts and Challenger learning sign. o All equipment needed to access areas should be included in the bid. o Bid must include any surface preparation per manufacturer's specifications, including mechanical abrasion prior to priming the surface, including mechanical abrasion prior to priming the surface, one coat of Kem Bond primer, and two coats of Sherwin Williams Acrolon 218 HS Structural Grey 4031 paint. o Heartland Community College will provide paint colors to match the existing building. o Contractor will be responsible for making repairs to any green spaces damaged during this project. Contractor Personnel and Vehicles The Contractor shall have only properly trained personnel on site to perform all functions. They shall be properly trained to ensure that all operations are performed safely and effectively. The Contractor will be required to check in at the Public Safety Services station in the Student Commons Building (SCB) upon arriving at the site. He or she will also be required to check out prior to leaving the site at the conclusion of the workday. All Contractor's employees and vehicles will be required to have professional highly visible company identification on them. To ensure performance of the contract, a weekly inspection sheet, supplied by the College, will be used as a communication method between the Contractor and the College that requirements are being reviewed and accomplished. Cleanup The Contractor shall provide daily cleanup of all construction debris. All dumpsters and recyclables to be within the Contractor's scope.
