The York Factory First Nation FNCFS Youth Prevention Centre in York Landing, Manitoba, is a vital new community facility designed to support youth programming, cultural preservation, and wellness initiatives. This multi-purpose, 25,000-square-foot building will feature a Cultural Gathering Room, Storytelling and Music Room, Teaching Kitchen, Fitness Centre, Multipurpose Spaces, and Youth Lounge. The project scope includes extensive custom millwork, specialty finishes, and a full complement of commercial-grade furniture, fixtures, and AV systems. Built to meet standards for durability and functionality in a northern environment, the facility will also prioritize the integration of local labour, materials, and resources wherever possible.
