Site Preparation: o Identify and mark testing locations with stakes. o Ensure clear access for drilling equipment. 2. Drilling & Testing: o Utilize a drilling rig to bore test holes at marked locations. o Insert a camera into each hole to inspect underground conditions. o Measure and document the volume and flow rate of available water. 3. Assessment & Reporting: o Analyze collected data to determine the potential for well installation. o Provide a summary report of findings, including water availability and site suitability. To assess the feasibility of installing gravel or artisan wells at designated city sports fields (6) by conducting site testing to evaluate water availability. In accordance with MGL Chapter 30 sec 39M, IF the contract exceeds $25,000.00 then within ten (10) days of notification of contract awards, the successful Contractor will be required to submit a Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the contract amount to be held in the City's Purchasing Department until all work has been accepted by the City. This bond shall be renewable on a yearly basis if this contract is extended due to a contract extension provision.
