SCOPE OF WORK: The purpose of this project is to remove and replace the existing reinforced concrete spillway channel that has been undermined. A new access road will be constructed to gain access to the project site. Urethane will be injected under selected slabs. Broken concrete panels will be stacked on site to protect the channel bottom of alternates not funded. Site will be drained to grade and erosion control established. BASE BID: STA 8+42 to Sta 5+50 - Existing channel replaced ADD ALTERNATE 1: Erosion pit filled with select borrow then top protected with 3 layers of broken concrete slabs ADD ALTERNATE 2: STA 5+50 to STA 4+05 - Replace Existing Channel ADD ALTERNATE 3: STA 4+00 to STA 3+00 - Replace Existing Channel ADD ALTERNATE 4: STA 3+00 to STA 1+72 - Replace Existing Channel A certified or cashier's check or Bidder's Surety Bond, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid will be required from each bidder at the time of bid, to be retained as liquidated damages in the event the successful bidder fails, neglects or refuses to enter into said contract for the construction of said public improvements for said project, and furnish the necessary bonds within fifteen (15) days from and after the date the award is made. The successful contractor shall provide statutory, performance and maintenance bonds each in the amount of 100% of the total bid price. All work shall be completed within 150 Calendar Days for Base Bid, plus 30 Calendar Days each for Alternates 1 - 4, after starting work. Liquidated damages at the rate of $500 per day shall be assessed for every day after the scheduled completion date until all work is completed. The Owner reserves the right to correct any non-material clerical errors in the bidding as allowed under Oklahoma Law. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all quotes in accordance with the Oklahoma Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974. Conditional quotes shall not be accepted. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
