BASE BID: o Rem approx. 200 square feet of exist. walk and Replace with 4 inch non-reinforced concrete walk, MDOT Grade S1, on 4 inch sand Base; o Rem approx. 1,000 square yard of exist. Road Pavement and Replace with 8 inch non-reinforced concrete pavement w/integral straight curb, MDOT Grade S1, on new 6 inch MDOT 21AA Crushed Limestone Base; o Rem approx. 150 linear feet of exist. 8 inch storm pipe and Replace with 12 inch RCP CLIV Trench "B: o Furnish and install (2) Diversion Chambers, 4'x7'; o Furnish and Install (1) Flo-Dar AV Ultrasonic Sensor or approved equal, with all applicable elec. wirings, connection, etc.; o Furnish and install approximately 400 linear feet of sanitary sewer 15 inch diameter No Dig Pipe by Guided Pilot Tubing Method; o Furnish and install approximately 25 linear feet of sanitary sewer 21 inch diameter No Dig Pipe by Excavation Method; o Furnish and install approximately 1,900 linear feet of sanitary sewer 24 inch diameter No Dig Pipe by Guided Pilot Tubing Method; o Furnish and install (3) 4 foot diameter sanitary manhole; o Furnish and install (6) 5 foot diameter sanitary manhole; o Furnish and install (1) 7.5 foot diameter sanitary manhole; o Furnish and install (1) 15 foot diameter shaft connecting to exist. 90" diameter Tunnel; o Traffic Maintenance and Control, restoration, clean-up, and related work. o All other related items; Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or money order, executed by the Bidder and Surety firm, licensed to perform business in the State of Michigan, and payable to the City of Riverview in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the accompanying bid. Proposal guarantee shall provide assurance the Bidder will, upon acceptance of the bid, execute the necessary Contract with the City of Riverview. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish separate Performance, Labor and Material, and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. Event pre-bid note: ENGINEER shall transmit to all such Bidders of record such addenda as ENGINEER considers necessary to provide clarification, in response to questions arising therein, or arising subsequent. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids in its sole discretion, in whole or in part, for any reason or for no reason at all, to waive any informality/technicality in bids received, and to award the contract to any bidder, when such waiver is deemed to best serve the interest of the OWNER. A contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder as determined by the OWNER.
