Hardee County Board of County Commissioners Repairs of Hardee County Bridges Damaged by Hurricane Question Deadline 04/01/2025 at 3:00 PM ET The County reserves the right to reject any or all responses, to waive any or all non-material irregularities and technicalities to re-advertise for ITBs, with or without changes in the scope of work, to award in whole or in part to one or more Bidders or take any other such actions that may be deemed to be in the best interest of County. Scope of work for Hardee County Bridges Damaged by Hurricane Ian 1306618 Bridge #64122 Kelly Roberts Road over Buckhorn Creek GPS: 27.51788, -81.66599 Work to be completed. 1306619 Bridge #64035 Dansby Road over Troublesome Creek Work to be completed. 1306616 Bridge #64114 Locklar Road over Charlie Creek- GPS: 27.62718, -81.72779 Work to be completed. 1306617 Bridge #64085 Hendry Road over Gum Swamp Work to be completed. During the declared incident period of September 23, 2022, through November 4, 2022, the Hardee County embankments and slopes at the north and south abutments was impacted by surface water flooding generated from Hurricane Ian resulting in damage to 58.67 CY of unclassified fill, 880 SF of geotextile filter fabric, and 58.67 CY of 8-10 IN rip rap at the each of the north end abutment and the south end abutment. As a direct result of this event, the embankments were damaged below the deck of the bridge located at 27.51788, -81.66599. A. Replace Embankment, 71.12 CY, 24 FT long x 20 FT wide x 4 FT deep. B.
