Purchase Type Duration: 1 year Option: two, one year renewal The City of Grand Rapids is seeking bids for a one-year term contract, with two, one-year renewal options to provide "as needed" services to supply containers and remove and dispose of municipal wastewater residue, sewer lines, and catch basin wastes, as per the specifications contained herein. The City's sewer maintenance vacuum trucks pick-up waste materials when cleaning sewer lines and catch basins. After drying, this material will be loaded into Contractor supplied bins and roll-off containers for removal and disposal by the Contractor. Wastewater and sewer residues are classified non-hazardous, analyses are available upon request. The Contractor supplied bins and containers for residual waste materials are located at: o The City of Grand Rapids Environmental Services Department/Plant, 1300 Market Ave. SW, o Market Avenue Pumping Station (MAPS), 741 Market Ave SW, and the o Market Avenue Retention Basin, 746 Market Avenue SW, Grand Rapids, Michigan. The work shall include all containers, equipment, labor, mobilization and incidentals necessary to perform the required services.
