The RM of Birch Hills No. 460 is accepting tenders for the provision of hauling a minimum of 5,000 yds of gravel during the RM's 2025 summer gravel hauling program starting as early as May and may extend until October as directed by the municipal staff as per the attached Tender Document. The gravel will need to be loaded from one of three stockpiles located within the municipality. The stockpiles are located at NE 15-46A-26-W2, NE 32-47-23-W2 and at the RM shop yard located in the Town of Birch Hills. Estimated loads are to be 18-20 cubic yards and the Contractor is responsible for verifying legal haul weights and compliance on Provincial highways. To provide consistency in the tendering process, we require that you submit the completed 2025 Summer Gravel Haul Tender Form with the additional documents requested. If you intend to provide your own loader for the haul or use the RM's loader there is a place to specify the rate for both scenarios in the tender document. The municipality reserves the right to object to any and/or all tenders, to waive irregularities and informalities at their discretion and to accept the tender, which the municipality deems to be in their best interest. The lowest tender or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.
