ITEM Generator Maintenance and Repair For the Department of Public Works. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of CERTIFIED CHECK, or BID BOND issued by a responsible bank or trust company licensed to do business in the State of Massachusetts in the amount of 5% of the total bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days, after the date set for the opening thereof. Attention is directed to the minimum wage rates to be paid as determined by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D inclusive. The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G. L. Chapter 30, Section 39M and the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39S. Tisbury is an affirmative action/equal opportunity purchaser. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any or all bids or take whatever other action may be deemed necessary to be in the best interest of the Town.
