The City of Lucedale, Mississippi, is inviting sealed design-bid proposals for the construction of a new concession stand at the Lucedale Soccer Complex. Each bidder must include a Bid Bond or Certified Check for 5% of their bid amount, payable to the City of Lucedale, as bid security. A current financial statement may be requested by the City. The successful bidder will be required to provide Payment and Performance Bonds, each for 100% of the contract amount. The project includes all work as specified in the documents, and contractors are responsible for all materials, labor, and equipment required to complete the project per the specifications and drawings. Contract Duration: The contract time is set for 100 consecutive calendar days from the effective date in the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages of $100 will be assessed for each day beyond the specified contract time.
