Information regarding a timeline for bidding and construction is not available. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The City of Laguna Beach Public Works Department invites qualified Consultants to provide a proposal for right-of-way acquisition services for the North Coast Interceptor (NCI) Reach 5 Replacement project. The project limits are between South Coast Highway and the South Orange County Wastewater Authority (SOCWA) Coastal Treatment Plant (CTP). The project will provide dual parallel pipelines to provide redundancy and the ability to maintain a reliable and safe conveyance of wastewater. The project includes: Installation of 5,200 LF of dual 18-inch high density polyethylene pipelines from South Coast Highway to just west of the SOCWA CTP. Slip lining rehabilitation using flexible fabric reinforced pipe for the remaining 900 LF of existing 24-inch NCI transmission pipeline to the headworks of the SOCWA CTP. The project design is at about 90% and right of way requirements have been preliminarily determined. The permanent and temporary construction easement is attached as Attachment 2. Your services shall be performed in accordance with the Scope of Work in Section IX. All affected properties are broken down on the Proposal Sheet in Section X. The draft plan sheets are attached as Attachment 3. The Preliminary Design Report is attached as Attachment 4.
