Renovation of a detention facility in Canon City, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Reference Number 0000380915 The work site is at the Centennial Facility within the East Canon City Prison Complex. This is an active correctional facility and work must be coordinated in advance with facility staff. All Contractor staff entering the facility must receive prior approval through the facility screening process. The project is the complete supply and installation of a replacement water booster skid. The existing skid serving the facility has reached the end-of-service life. The existing skid shall be removed and disposed by Contractor. System shutdown for installation is limited to hours between 2000 PM to 0400 AM. Service conditions are detailed on the project drawings. Question Deadline 04/10/2025 at 5:00 PM MT Vendors may submit questions by email to the Single Point of Contact prior to the Questions Due Date identified in the Basic Information and Timeline above. The Agency/Institution may answer some, all, or none of the questions asked by posting them publicly. ability to complete work in full by June 1, 2025. Bid Security: A bid security of not less than 5% of the bid price is required when the price is estimated to be $50,000 or more. The security shall be a bond by a surety company, the equivalent in cash, or otherwise supplied in a form satisfactory for the State. Noncompliance requires the bid to be rejected as nonresponsive.
