Florence County School District 3 in Lake City, SC is accepting sealed bids for complete interior and some exterior painting of Lake City Early Childhood Center. Remove all 4' vinyl baseboard Cut out 1-5/8" of sheetrock from floor up in all VCT floor areas Replace cutout sheetrock with 1-5/8" high PVC board and attachment method will be screws to metal studs A continuous bead of silicone will be placed between the bottom of the PVC board and the VCT floor Patching of sheetrock in any place that needs to be patched. Patch cutout and replacement should be of appropriate size to make sure damaged sheetrock has been completely removed. Painting of all hallways, doors, door frames, windows, offices, rest rooms, maintenance closets, custodial closets, IT closets, and touch up of murals Gang toilets in back hallway will have floors painting with an epoxy type paint, walls are to be painted, and ceiling grids are to be painted. Painting of all classroom walls, doors, doorframes, and rest rooms inside of classrooms. Media center walls, doors and doorframes. Cafeteria and kitchen ceiling, walls, doors, door frames to be painted. (kitchen equipment to be painted around as applicable) Kitchen, pantry, dry storage, kitchen staff bathroom, and serving line areas to have floor painted with epoxy-type paint. All 4" baseboard that was removed will be replaced with 6" black standard cove base. All wooden doors to be lightly sanded and refinished. Stucco at front entrance area to be painted with appropriate exterior paint. All paints used interior will be Sherwin Williams brand in a gloss finish. Paint colors will be determined after contract is awarded All stains for doors will be clear gloss. All labor, paint, consumables and equipment to accomplish this job should be included in this pricing. Contractor will be supplied a set of keys to be able to access this building as needed. Contractor will be working alongside other trades for the duration of this contract period All work will be performed after hours and during summer break. Any work done after schools hours and during the weekend will not interfere with school functions (cleanup of complete work area must be done before the following school day). Work on the project will begin seven days after award notice and must be completed no later than July 13, 2025 Liquidated damages will be enforced at a rate of $500 per day for every day after July 13, 2025 unless for extenuating circumstances and at the District's discretion Liquidated damages will be enforced at rate of $250 per day for each day that cleanup has not been done before school starts
