Proposals Shall Be Designated as "sealed Bid - Substation Inspection and Maintenance Testing - Marshall & Dutch Substations". All Bids Must Be Submitted on Forms Provided. Each Bidder Must Deposit With His/her Bid, Security in the Amount for and Subject to the Conditions Provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties Used for Obtaining Bonds Must Appear as Acceptable on the Department of Treasury Circular 570. A Bidder May Withdraw His/her Bid Only in Accordance With the Louisiana Public Bid Law. The Contractor Shall Begin Mobilization and Procurement of Materials Within Ten (10) Working Days of the Receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Execute the Owner's Standard Form of Agreement/contract for Construction Together With the Performance and Payment Bonds Within Fifteen (15) Working Days After Formal Award of Contract. Minority Owned Firms and Small Businesses Are Encouraged to Participate. Any Person With Disabilities Requiring Special Accommodations Must Contact City of Vinton No Later Than Seven (7) Days Prior to Bid Opening. Bidders Are Required to Show Contractor's Louisiana License Number on the Outside of the Bid Envelope (R.s.37:2163), or to State the Exemption on the Bid Envelope Under Which the Contractor is Not Required to Hold a License (R.s.37:2157). The Owner Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informalities or to Reject Any or All Bids for Just Cause. Such Actions Will Be in Accordance With Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes.
