Proposals are invited for Contract No. P100.833, which involves tunnel lighting improvements on the Garden State Parkway from Milepost 144.5 to 144.8 (Irvington Tunnel) in the Township of Irvington, New Jersey. The principal items of work include: #2 A.W.G. Multiple Lighting Cable 15,100 L.F. Underbridge Lighting Installation, Str. No. 1 1 Lump Sum Furnishing Traffic Control Devices 1 Lump Sum Installation, Maintenance, and Removal of Lane Closing 164 Each Bidders must be prequalified under Contract Classification 10, Electrical Work, Highway, Rating up to $10,000,000 Maximum, prior to the receipt of Proposals. For Proposals submitted by joint ventures, each member of the joint venture must be prequalified in the Contract Classification, and the sum of the ratings held by each member must be within 10 percent of the total price bid by the joint venture. In cases where the sum of the ratings exceeds $50 million, the joint venture's rating will be Unlimited. The Contractor agrees to make a good faith effort to award at least 3% of this Contract to Subcontractors registered by the Division as a DVOB firm Prequalification or renewal of prequalification must be received by the New Jersey Turnpike Authority's (the "Authority") Engineering Department no later than March 27, 2025 The Contractor agrees to make a good faith effort to award at least 25% of this Contract to Subcontractors registered by the Division as an SBE firm. Subcontracting goals do not apply if the prime Contractor is a registered SBE firm. The Contractor agrees to make a good faith effort to award at least 3% of this Contract to Subcontractors registered by the Division as a DVOB firm. Subcontracting goals do not apply if the prime Contractor is a registered DVOB firm.
