This project is generally described as the improvements to the JCWCID10 WWTP including the construction of a concrete chlorine contact basin, sulfur dioxide basin, parshall flume basin, aeration basin, lift station, chemical storage building, and any and all other improvements necessary for a complete installation at the JCWCID10 Wastewater Treatment Plant. Engineer's estimate is $1.9M. The project scope for the Base Bid includes but is not limited to: Mobilization Furnish and construct new chlorine contact basin Furnish and construct new sulfur dioxide basin Furnish and construct new 9" parshall flume structure with approach and downstream channel Furnish and construct new aeration basin Install submersible pumps Furnish and construct new chemical storage building Install standby diesel generator Construct and install new chemical system Furnish and install manhole Furnish and install 16" PVC SDR 26 San. Swr. Line Furnish and install 24" PVC SDR 26 San. Swr. Line Furnish and construct new 20'x16' concrete wet well Tie in 16" HDPE DIPS DR-9 force main to existing 16" force main Provide and install electrical equipment Provide and install SCADA system Furnish and install new water line Restore existing outfall The right is reserved by the JCWCID10, as their interest may require, to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in the bids received. Bid Security, only in the form of: 1) a certified or cashier's check drawn on a Texas bank and made payable to the JCWCID10; or 2) a bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Texas, in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid, must accompany each bid at the time it is submitted. Bids must be submitted on the form shown in the Contract Documents. A Contractor Qualification Statement must also accompany each bid.
