Project includes power washing, priming, joint sealing, reinforcing existing seams and base coating existing metal of approximately 3,800 SF of steel roofing on the City Garage building located at 1700 N 4th Ave W, Newton, Iowa and 6,000 SF of steel roofing on the southeast lower shop building at the Newton Sanitary Landfill located at 3202 Hwy 14 South in Newton, Iowa Project Location: Newton Sanitary Landfill Lower Shop; City of Newton Public Works-Maintenance Shop; 3202 Hwy 14 South and 1700 N 4th Ave W Newton, IA 50208 Contractors submitting quotations pursuant to this RFQ shall be required to commit to the completion of the work on or before October 10, 2025. The contractor who is awarded the contract to perform the work shall be required to provide a performance and payment bond, in the form provided by the City, to secure the performance and timely completion of the work and to secure the payment of subcontractors and suppliers, as required by Section 573.2 of the Code.
