Site work and renovation of a civil project in Winterset, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project will be located at 2255 Norwood Avenue, Winterset, IA 50273, and includes the following Work: Replacement of the existing trickling filter system with a higher-capacity sequencing batch reactor (SBR) activated sludge treatment system. The project also includes supervisory controls and data acquisition (SCADA), a new blower building and electrical room serving the SBR system, modifications to existing aerated sludge tanks, and a new raw wastewater pump station. Headworks improvements include new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, screening, and grit removal. Also included are the construction of sludge storage and sludge loadout facilities and grading improvements to the existing equalization basins. Bids are requested for the following Contract: WWTF Improvements, Contract 1-2025. Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office. Cost does include shipping charges. Overnight mailing of Bidding Documents will not be provided. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent. The fee will be refunded if Bidding Documents are returned within 14 days after the award of the Project. The Project shall be finally completed by, and ready for final payment, on or before May 1, 2028, subject to any changes in the contract period as provided for in these specifications, and granted by the City Council. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid security, as defined in Iowa Code Section 26.8, and made payable to OWNER in an amount of 5% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any technicality. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 90 days after the time set for receiving Bids.
