Complete roof tear off adjacent detached storage building (detached from Frew house). Re-roof Frew house / storage building with existing salvaged tiles, and torch down roof system Frew House Pitched Portion: (Approximately:800 Sq Ft.) 1. Contractor will remove all existing tiles and SALVAGE the Frew house (Spanish tiles) for re-lay / re-set. 2. Contractor will install 2 layers of # 30 lb on the tile portion of roof and re-set the existing salvaged (Spanish) tiles. Tiles that need replacement will be matched with a similar Spanish tile (keeping the HISTORIC appearance). Such replacement tiles can be found at L.A Materials Inc. (112 w Jefferson Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90007. The Spanish tile model number for L.A Roofing Materials is "SB01." This model is like in length, width, thickness, pattern, and color. Any replacement tile must be approved prior to installation. Frew House Flat Portion: Approximately 1,000 Sq Ft 1. Contractor will remove the existing layer(s) of flat roof to the Frew house. 2. Contractor will install a single layer of #75 base sheet to the flat roof deck. Contractor will use the manufacturer recommended fasteners (to meet fastening specifications). 3. Contractor will install a Poly-glass Polysmooth APP mid ply membrane according to all manufacturer specifications (torch welded). Contractor will install Poly-glass Poly-Fresko FR fire rated white torch CAP membrane (torch welded). Frew House Detached Storage Portion: Approximately 200 Sq Ft. 1. Contractor will remove the existing layers of flat roof detached storage room.
